Hocus Pocus
Have you always been wondering what howling cats, scratching chickens and barking dogs sound like on a violin? Do you like humorous chamber music and are you a fan of beautiful baroque music?
On April 5, the Kunstorkest will be performing a programme centered around the theme of deceptions and illusions. Among others, the programme includes the ouverture from Mozart’s opera La Finta Semplice, literally “The Fake Innocent”. The programme also includes Farina’s “Capriccio Stravagante”, where we will show how the violin can transform into different animals, but also a guitar, a lyre and a drum. The concert will take place in de Doopsgezinde kerk in Utrecht. Come out of your nest for the Kunstorkest!
